An educational illustration of how common factors move a score — not a predictor of your actual credit score.
This is an educational estimate, not your real credit score.
Equifax, TransUnion, and FICO use proprietary formulas that aren't public. This tool illustrates the commonly-cited general factors and their approximate weight — it cannot predict your actual score, which depends on details no simplified tool has access to. Canadian bureau scores run on a 300–900 scale.

Each bar shows points earned toward this illustrative score out of that factor's approximate maximum — lower utilization and a longer, on-time payment history matter most.
Real scoring models (FICO, Equifax, TransUnion) are proprietary, consider dozens of data points from your actual credit file, and are recalculated continuously. No outside tool can replicate that — anyone claiming to give you your 'real' score for free from generic inputs is not being fully accurate.
Request it directly from Equifax Canada or TransUnion — both offer free access to your credit report, and many banks now show an estimated score for free within their banking app.
Payment history and credit utilization are the two heaviest-weighted factors in most real scoring models — paying on time, every time, and keeping balances well below your credit limits, tend to matter more than any other single factor.
